Pixar released a clip of the new short preceding Monsters University on June 21. Pixar’s shorts have never disappointed me, and this one looks like it will carry on the legacy. I’m a little nervous about the realistic-ness of the umbrellas contrasted against the simple faces. I’ve never really been a fan of photorealism in digital/graphic design or animation, but this is too charming to dislike. I am so excited so see Monsters U (go enroll!) and definitely have high hopes for the rest of this short. Take a peek!
